Okay, so it’s been a long time since I wrote anything. But I decided to return to wordpress for now.

Lewisburg is going good. I’ve made a lot of new friends here, and the school (being about half the size of deep run) is turning out to be okay. I’m extremely glad that I’m involved in the band, because I met most of my friends here through that. Although I’m friends with mostly freshmen… But it’s alright, I have a fair share of my grade, and higher friends.

Last night we played Milton, at a home game. Which for those of you in Richmond who don’t know…home games for us are still away. We have to bus down to the Bucknell (college) stadium, which is only a matter of 5 minutes away. Seeing as it’s only just down the street. But anyway, we have a… well, not a deep run team, so to speak. Our team has been known to win maybe two games per season. We suprisingly crushed Milton last night. Besides the fact that it was raining, the game went well. Our pre-game show was one of my personal bests.

Also, for anyone in Richmond, if you’d like to hear a portion of our band, in a group called “Band Flex”, you can go to youtube, and search it. Flex is basically extended study, which is either “Lunch Flex” which is after your 5th and 6th  blocks, which lunch is during, or “End-of-day Flex” which is after 7th and 8th blocks. A small group of band people (whoever wants to) goes down to the band room and plays stand tunes, which Mr. Hill records on his MacBook, and posts them on youtube.

Tonight is the Milton Harvest Carnival, which we’re competing in, and then I’m sleeping over at Alyssa’s with Claire and Eva. Which would be my first sleepover at someone else’s house in Lewisburg.

My cat died yesterday morning.

And because of everything going on, I felt the need to update.

So I’m gone from Short Pump. I no longer reside there. I’m staying at my dad’s until my mom returns from PA. Which could be a while. Since the money hasn’t gotten to Wachovia for her to sign for the house up there.

I don’t know how I feel about moving, and it seems like everyone is asking the same questions:
“Are you excited about the move?!”
“How do you like the area?!”
“Where is that?!”
I will, though, explain what is going on.

My parents are separating. My mom is moving to Lewisburg. And my dad lives close to Moody Middle. So the other day my mom was upset about moving, which is weird because she was the one who decided for us that we would be moving to the lbg. And she said we could only live there for a year if we wanted. And then we would rent the house out to people, making money from that, enough to allow us to move back to the west end. If you haven’t already noticed, Lewisburg is about 1/8th of Short Pump. In house sizes, shops, and income.

I’m excited to move, because I’ll get to completely start over. And I’m nervous to move, because I know I wont meet that many people.

But I have to admit:
Guys in Lewisburg > Guys in Richmond.

So I couldn’t update in a while.

 School for me is over.
As is living in Richmond.

33 days.

But Monday made me realize how much I really am going to miss everyone.
“So Rachael, when are you moving?”
“July 19.”
“Wait, what?!”
Monday was probably the best day in a long time.
I love my friends.

Today I had one exam. English. Gibson. I’m done. So done. We were her last english class ever. Afterwards, Ella came over and we hung out at NFES. Then we went to Casa, and picked up two people off the side of the road (Erin and Spencer). They were going to Casa too.

My computer is gone.

But I’ll fill in about everything later.

I’m not in the mood.

And I found out that I can only trust like one of my friends.
And that would be Mary Beth.

I’m going to Cary Town this weekend!
I haven’t been there in 8 years!

I’m having problems with a lot of people. But I think to make it easier, I’ll just write another one of those friend-description things.

(It’s a monday, so I might run out of time.)

1.)   You’re one of my best friends. I don’t know what I would/will do without you. You’ve had my back all year, and I know I can tell anything to you. You’re the easiest person to talk to, and I’ve never had to keep anything from you. I’m glad we’ve gotten to be such great friends this year, and I know we will stay friends for a long time.

2.)   I just met you this year, and you’ve already changed my life so much. You’ve helped me make decisions on how I want to act the rest of my life, in such a short amount of time. You really listen to me when something’s wrong, although you say you’ve never seen me upset. And I can always go to you if I need a laugh. You make me feel great, and you’re one of the people I will miss the most. I always knew, since the first day I saw you, that we would make great friends, and here we are, and you’re one of the most amazing people I have ever met.

3.)   We just met, and although we have only talked online, I feel like we could be really good friends in person. We have a lot in common, and I would love to hang out with you. I still haven’t officially met you, but I have a feeling we will see a lot of each other this summer.

4.)   I miss you. A lot. I know at the begining of the year we were inseperable. We hung out constantly at school, and outside of school as well. I loved how cool we were with eachother. I felt really close to you, and I know we’re had a ton of hilarious times together that maybe only we can understand. But somewhere along the road, we changed paths, and haven’t talked in a long time. I wish we could still be friends, but I feel like we’ve let things to too far away, and we’ll never have that back.

5.)   We are supposedly really good friends, but I think of us as acquaintances now. I can’t talk to you without getting corrected, or laughed at. You’re not who you used to be, and you think a lot higher of yourself as you really are. You’re “friends” with a lot of people who don’t even know you, and apparently you’re not aware that everyone is annoyed by you. Just because you have a new group of friends doesn’t mean you have to be a new person. I don’t like the new you.

6.)   We just started talking, and I think you’re really cool. You have a different group of friends as mine, but I know a lot of them. If we talked more, then maybe your opinions of some other “friends” of yours would change. You’re really funny, and cool to talk to when I get the chance. You’re making friends with the wrong people though, and you’re just going to get hurt in the end, or end up hurting them.

7.)   You were really cool at the beginning of the year. Only, things changed for the worse, and we’re not as close anymore. Your new personality, and my regular one clashed, and we don’t get along. I know if you read this you probably don’t feel the same, but I just wanted to be honest with you, and if you want to talk, I’ll always be here for you and you know that.

8.)   I only met you a year ago, almost two. I can’t believe how alike we are. I feel like you’ll always be on the same page as me, and will always be there for me. We always have a ton of fun together, and have never gotten sick of each other yet. I’m glad we took the time to make such great friends, because without you, I never would have met my twin.

9.)   You’re the funniest person I have ever met. While I’ve just recently met you, (around January) I really enjoy your company. Your greetings every day make me smile, and I like that you can be serious or funny when needed. 10.)                      The shy, little, sweet girl I used to know has obviously came out of her shell. Because from what I remember, the first day I started talking to you… I can’t even remember it actually… We just automatically became friends. I like hanging out with you, and I know we feel the same about every situation. Even though we like to make fun of each other, and HOLD SECRETS FOR A WEEK from each other (J) I know we’ll always be really good friends.11.)                       As annoying as you are, I secretly like your company. I can’t even begin to think of what my classes would be like without you. I’ve gotten so used to you, that I feel really comfortable with you around. You’re someone that is rarely serious, and you’re actually really sweet.12.)                       I’ve known you since Kindergarden! I’ve always felt like I could be myself around you no matter how weird that was. If we hadn’t started talking last year, and this, we probably wouldn’t even remember eachother. You like to make fun of me a lot, but it’s cool because I know you’re only kidding.13.)                       I’ve known you since first grade, and we never really talked. Until this year. I’m really glad we became good friends this year, and we talk almost every day. I wish we had more classes together, but maybe we can hangout more over the summer.14.)                       We were always really close up until this year. You’ve become a totally different person, and I’m not sure how I feel about that. You’re obsessive, and it’s weird. You’ve had problems with a lot of my friends, and can’t seem to hold up a conversation with more than one other person. I was never able to choose sides in the situations between you and my other friends, because I don’t know what to think of you anymore. You’re the exact opposite of what you were last year. 15.)                       You seemed really quiet at the beginning of the year, but I’ve learned that you’re the exact opposite. We met through gym class, when I switched, and randomly started talking because we shared sixth block together. We soon became really good friends, and you’re probably the only person I would ever paint my nails with in the middle of sixth block. JI’ll add more people later.

My world history class was Mr. Epps’ only class with people who got a perfect score.

I got a 482 which translates in toa 90 for my exam grade.

On another note, there is no point in liking the person I do. I feel like I’m wasting my time. And someone else seems to be interfering.

But whatever.

1.) When people wear socks over their ankles.

2.) When people have their myspace name as something other than their name. Unless it’s like a nickname. But “depressing” quotes will get you NO attention.

3.) People who claim they’re “best friends” or “tight” with people they just met.

4.) People who are obsessive over certain things. I mean, come on really, take a breather.

5.) How teachers really have nothing planned for the end of the year so they throw projects and tests on you.

6.) How people think it’s cute to have greasy, flat hair.

7.) When people can’t go 15 minutess without checking their phone or texting.

8.) How wordpress makes [ 8 + . + ) = 8.)]

9.) When people LOAD their weeks and weekends with social events/hangouts, and you have to ask to chill 2 weeks in advance.

10.) When people chew with their mouths open like a cow.

11.) When people think just because they can text or comment a guy on myspace or whatever, that they’re really cool, and “talk” a lot. When you’ve never even been around that person for more than 5 hours.

12.) When sophomores think they’re upperclassmen. Sure, to us freshmen, but no.

17.) When people think they’re too good for cheaper stores. Sorry, target has really cute shorts, and bathing suits. Hate to break it to you, but most of their stuff is under $20. And when you have a shirt from somewhere like aero, and someone is like “omg thats SO cute! where did you get it?!” and you say “aero” and they’re like “oh. um, i don’t like that store/shop there.”

18.) When people who live on the other side of the highway think they’re “poor”

20.) How Deep Run is farther away from me than Godwin. Godwin= 5 minutes. Deep Run- 15.

23.) When someone wants to sit with you on the bus, and you stand up to let them move into the window seat and they make a big huge deal about it.

Well, I guess there is no senior prank this year…?
In WH, Meg and I thought of ideas.
Like a giant slip and slide down the hallway.
Or kidnapping freshmen/sophomores/junniors and putting them in random parts of the school
Or turning out the power.
Or putting millions of colorful sticky notes all over the walls and ceilings.

Anyway… the band banquet was last night, and was suprisingly more fun than I expected.
Me, Ella, and Paige arrived shortly after 6:30, and found our seats near Madeline, Serene, and Mary Beth.
—It’s really quiet in here.
So dinner was the highlight of my night, with Christine pointing at Justin and Mary Beth and asking if they “had a thing…”
It was not necessary to list every single office job, I think just section leaders would have done just fine.
The slideshow was cute, and I want a copy…

It was a good banquet, though I would have enjoyed the slideshow a little bit more had there been pictures of concert band, and not all marching. The marching pictures also had pictures of other schools. Which I found made the presentation a little shaky.

Well I’m going to work on my algebra project, and homework.

That I really don’t have as many best friends as I think.

Last night was really fun.
I hung out with Mary Beth, Meredith, Robin, Julia, and Ella.
We were at the mall until closing, and then went to B&N.
We saw like 238974 people we knew.
It was a perfect way to spend my Friday.

Then today, I went to the pool.
To get some color.
I’m bringing a friend/friends next time.

The concert Monday night lasted forever.
It was good though, I guess, being our last concert.
If strings had been performing as well, I may have had to strangle myself, but they didn’t.

I have to wear my glasses all week. It’s annoying.

So yesterday, we had the awards assembly. It was okay, since I was with Serene, and like my whole extended study. And Madeline got her band award.
We then had a slightly longer 3rd block. But not by much. In there, Mary Beth came up to me with a bag

What is in the bag?
Sweedish fish. My favorite food in the world.

That made my day. Then I had fifth block which was just boring. But! Before we dressed out, Serene told me the list for guard was up. ALTERNATE?!?! What is that?! But at least technically I’m on. We sat there and watched everyone make-up pacers. Then lunch which I don’t really remember.
First block after lunch was alright. We presented our projects. Mine went ok.
Seventh block we took notes, and we’re learning a while new unit. Great.

Now I’m in study hall, of course, and I had been playing tetris nonstop. Well now that people are deleting their wordpresses, I hardly ever get any views
